Job description

đźš™ About us:

Launched in 2012, Hiflow is a digital platform specialized in single car delivery, thanks to an important network of independent drivers. We are the main delivery service provider for many businesses in the car industry: leasing companies (Arval, Ayvens, Leasys), car rental companies (Europcar, Avis, Hertz), car manufacturers (Stellantis, Renault, Tesla), car dealerships…

Leader on the French market and already available in Belgium, Spain and Italy, we’re on a mission to reinvent and unlock mobility in Europe.

We opened the Spanish market in 2022, and after an impressive growth, achieving +120% in the last year, we are now entering a new critical phase. We are transitioning from a market launch-strategy to a more structured and sustainable organization.

We are looking for a Country Manager who can navigate change and build durability to lead our fastest-growing market.

đź’« Your role:

Reporting directly to the International Director, you hold ownership of the strategy and the team in Spain. You goal is to move the country from a "startup mode" to a more structured, high-performance business unit.

1.Business Development & Key Account Management

  • Sales Strategy: Define the commercial strategy to capture market share across our target segments (Leasing, Rental, Dealers, OEMs).

  • High-Level Closing: Support the Business Developer and KAM on C-Level negotiations and complex deals. You represent Hiflow in front of major strategic partners.

  • Retention Focus: Ensure we aren't just signing new clients, but retaining them. Work with the KAM to build a "Client Success" mindset that secures our recurring revenue.

  • Marketing & Product Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing and Product teams in France to adapt our value proposition and communication assets to the Spanish market. You act as the "voice of the market," providing feedback to HQ to ensure our product evolves to meet local client needs.

2.Organizational Structuring & Team Leadership

  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~8 people, currently split between Operations (logistics execution) and Sales (1 KAM, 1 Business Developer).

  • Structuring for Scale: We have grown fast; now we need to grow right. You will audit the current organization and implement clear processes, roles, and KPIs to make the team more efficient.

  • Talent Acquisition & Culture: You are responsible for the smart growth of the team. You will identify resource needs and lead the recruitment process, ensuring we bring in "A-players." Crucially, you will act as the gatekeeper of our values, ensuring that as we add new members, we maintain the positive, collaborative, and transparent culture that defines Hiflow.

3.Operational Excellence

  • Process Optimization: Work with the Ops team to industrialize our logistics processes. The goal is to reduce manual interventions and increase the quality of service (Lead times, SLA compliance).

  • Quality Standards: Ensure that the "growing pains" (service issues, delays) are addressed systematically so that our growth remains qualitative.

4.Strategy & P&L Management

  • Roadmap Definition: Define the strategic roadmap for Spain for the next 12-24 months, identifying key levers for growth and profitability.

  • Administrative and Financial ownership: In collaboration with the Administrative and Financial team in France, you manage the country’s P&L with a focus on sustainable growth. You are responsible for the top line (Revenue) but also the bottom line (Gross Margin, EBITDA).

  • Reporting: Provide accurate reporting and forecasting to HQ, ensuring transparency on challenges and opportunities.

🎉 Why join us?

  • A key leadership position with high autonomy in our fastest-growing market.

  • The opportunity to build, recruit, and structure your own organization.

  • Join a company that is a leader in its market and a key player in the transformation of the mobility sector: More rentals, more digitalisation, more electric cars. (learn more)

  • A company culture that values collaboration, transparency, care and ambition (learn more)

  • Competitive package (Fixed + Variable based on performance)

  • Offices in Madrid with a flexible remote work policy.
